Made in Gruyères in Switzerland, its crust is regular and slightly brown. The paste is fine, firm and melting.
Its ivory color may vary according to the season of production.
In the mouth, buttery, herbaceous, nutty and floral flavors. The Gruyère d'alpage from Beillevaire is made at high altitude between May and October.
